Instructions for how to handle an Echappe Shipment
Recieving:
- Unpack the wheelset and inspect it for damage during shipping.
- Sign the release form at the bottom of your included invoice.
Returning:
- Inspect the wheels for damage.
- Carefully repack the wheels if you are returning them.
- Sign the waiver at the bottom of the invoice.
Shipping Prices:
Orders over $150 receive free Ground shipping services. Ground Service is not Home Delivery. Please provide a commercial location (like a bike shop) for your shipping option. Home Delivery is subject to local surcharges. All shipments are subject to Delivery Signature Fees and Fuel Surcharges.
If your order is under $150, you will see an additional charge on your credit card statement from us for the return shipping. We will still provide you with the label or pick up method by FedEx.
Shipping is calculated by Zones with FedEx. We ship items from 10034, 64113 and 05401zip code. To calculate your shipping cost, please vist FedEx here.
Timing:
Cut off times:
While we work as quickly as possible to ensure that you get the wheelset you need for the weekend, we are only human. That said, there are cut off times for placing orders and receiving your wheelset.
- 72 hours from your delivery date for 2 day shipping.
- 48 hours from your delivery date for Overnight Shipping.
- 24 hour reservations are local delivery or pick up only.
- Same Day reservations are local pick up only.
- Further delivery services conducted by Echappe Equipment are subject to a $50 rush handling fee plus any tolls or excessive expenses upon the Echappe Representative.
Return Times:
Please have your wheels ready for pick up by the FedEx truck on the specified pick up day. If your wheels are not ready for the preset pick up date, you will be billed for an additional day.
Local Pick-Up:
We have local reps in New York City, Burlington (VT), Philadelphia, Kansas City (MO) and Los Angeles.
The best way to get your wheels at the cheapest price:
Make your reservation early. If we can see on the calendar that a wheelset is going to be needed by a New York customer in two weeks, its much more feasible for us (Burlington Rep and NYC Rep) to meet at a race over the weekend and exchange wheels. So, if you know that you have a TT in NewJersey coming up, make the reservation now. You can make a note regarding shipping costs in the check-out, or you can contact us.
