The distinctive three-spoke configuration of the H3 has given it more Tour de France top 10 TT finishes than any other wheel in the last 10 years, with or without stickers. It is the most aero production front wheel available. As a rear, the outstanding stiffness of the the wheel provides optimum power transfer. Little wonder it’s such a common sight in prol level races. The H3 is the most aero spoked wheel that we make. Rim construction is identical to the Alps. Using RTM construction, the spokes, rim, and hub are co-molded in one operation. Because there are no secondary bonding processes, the H3s are supremely strong. The rim weight is light – 460g, the three spokes only weigh 170g, so the wheels climb and accelerate very well. Available in clincher or tubular, 650 or 700. Shimano cassette, or track configuration only. Hubs are wheel-specific, two sealed bearings on the front wheel, one sealed cartridge on the rear non-drive side and ¼” loose ball-bearings on the drive side. Decals are white. The H3C wheel came about when the top teams in the pro peloton wanted a lighter TT wheel. It seemed like a reasonable request, so we made it. The shape is unchanged from our standard H3 wheel, but for the all carbon model we have replaced the aluminium rim with carbon. The result? 170g less rotating mass, still the most aerodynamic spoked wheel in the world. Simple and perfect for against the clock performance. Available in tubular only, 650 or 700.
